Brooky moves into second at Irish Open
An eagle on the final hole helped New Zealand golfer Lynette Brooky soar up the leaderboard at the women's Irish Open golf championship today.
Brooky shot a second round 66 to record the lowest round of the tournament so far.
With one round to go, she is one stroke adrift of Norway's Suzann Pettersen whose back to back 69s on the Portmarnock Links in Dublin took her into the on six-under par 138.
Pettersen's round included five birdies – three in a row from the 11th hole – and just the one bogey.
