Daniel Im fired an 8 under par 63 Thursday to hold a two stroke lead over George Bradford after the first round of the $200,000 Desjardins Montreal Open presented by Lexus.
Ryan Thornberry, Lee Williamson and Rob Oppenheim are in third spot, three shots back.
Derek Gillespie, Kris Wasylowich, Liam Kendregan and Clayton Rask shot 67 to sit at four under par while a group of 14 players, including Canadians Keven Fortin-Simard, Kevin Senecal, Will Mitchell, Ryan Williams, Mike Mezei and Ryan Horn are at 68.
