Fab four going for No 1 in France
The European Tour Order of Merit’s top four players are set to go head to head for the Number One spot at the €4,000,000 Open de France ALSTOM.
Miguel Angel Jiménez, Robert Karlsson, Lee Westwood and Oliver Wilson are all at the stunning Golf National in Versailles looking to take the oldest – and one of the most prestigious – continental Open in Europe and establish a strong lead at the top of the Order of Merit.
Westwood and Karlsson, fresh from their respective third and fourth place finishes at the US Open Championship, are men in form, while not many would bet against Jiménez adding to his BMW PGA Championship success of last month.
Wilson, meanwhile, is surely going to break down the victory door sooner rather than later after his outstanding season that has seen him finish second on no less than four occasions.
