Jack Nicklaus tutors during Arkansas golf clinic, impresses group of kids
ROLAND, Ark. — A rusty Jack Nicklaus was still quite a sight for young golfers in Arkansas.
Nicklaus was this year's guest star at the Jackson T. Stephens Charitable Golf Tournament on Monday. Although he admitted he doesn't play much these days, the Golden Bear was in impressive form as he demonstrated a variety of shots for a group of kids from Fort Smith and central Arkansas.
"What I'll do today is sort of tell you how I think I used to play," the 68-year-old Nicklaus quipped.

MCC stands fifth in golf regional
A rough second round at the NJCAA Region XII Division II Golf Championship in Battle Creek Monday left Muskegon Community College with its work cut out for it.
In third place after Monday's opening round at Bedford Valley Golf Club, the Jayhawks struggled in the afternoon and fell to fifth.

NZ golfer scores gig with US Golf Channel
New Zealand golfer Craig Perks will soon appear on a screen near you - and, no, he's not about to come out of retirement.
Perks has scored a gig with the Golf Channel in the United States to join the commentary team for The Players Championship in Florida starting on Friday (NZT).
He thinks his broadcasting debut should be interesting, alongside former great Nick Faldo, whom he grew up idolising.
