There is no doubt that the majority of regular internet black jack players count cards in the casino so that the house doesn’t have such a bid edge against them. Even a lot of casual blackjack players count cards when they go to the casino so that they can try it out and gain some experience. I first off want to quickly say that counting cards is legal in most countries, but the casinos definitely don’t like it when a player is counting cards and winning money.
If you get caught counting cards in a casino they have the right to kick you out since most casinos are on private property. Once you get kicked out of one casino most of the other casinos will find out and you’ll also get barred from going to the other casinos since they don’t want to openly allow card counters to play their games. If this ends up happening to you then you’re no longer going to be able to play blackjack to make money. This is why it’s really important you don’t get caught while you’re counting cards at the blackjack tables. I’m going to share a few quick tips with you now so that you can avoid being detected by the casino security and employees.
* It’s fairly easy to take the dealer out of the equation while counting cards in the casino. When you sit down at the table you should engage in some small talk with the dealer while playing. The more you talk with the dealer the less their going to think you’re counting cards. Make sure you keep eye contact as much as possible and don’t continually look at the cards on the table.
* Every casino such as the Las Vegas Hilton will have a pitboss watching over the blackjack tables and there job is to make sure everything runs smoothly. The pitboss is also supposed to look for anyone counting cards and you need to be careful not to draw the attention of them. They’ll generally make rounds around the blackjack tables and just watch the action taking place. Make sure you aren’t giving them any reason to think you’re counting cards. If you’re new to counting cards you should probably flat bet. Flat betting is simply when you bet the same amount of chips on every hand. When you start changing your bets based on the card count you’ll be more prone to getting caught by the dealer or pitboss.
* Your main foe while counting cards is going to be the cameras up in the ceilings. They always have multiple eyes watching you and they’re all trained to spot card counters. You definitely want to make sure that you’re not doing anything out of the ordinary. Again flat betting is advised if you’re new to card counting since it’s a much safer approach.
* Finally, please don’t try dressing up in a disguise to try and fool anyone. The most common disguise that card counters use when in the casino is a “tourist” look such as a Hawaiian styled shirt. You should wear what you’d normally wear as you don’t want to draw any attention to yourself in the casino. You also don’t want to look at the cameras at all since that’ll make you look very suspicious and they’ll keep a close eye on you.
