Johnson Gets First PGA Tour Win
Richard S. Johnson birdied three of his last four holes Sunday to shoot a 6-under-par 64 and win the U.S. Bank Championship by one shot over Ken Duke for his first PGA Tour victory.
Johnson finished at 16-under 264 at Brown Deer Park Golf Course in Milwaukee.
Johnson, the sixth golfer from Sweden to win on tour and seventh first-time winner this season, had to go through qualifying school last fall to get his tour card back and he had only made the cut in three of 10 tournaments this season.
Johnson shot an opening-round 63 that included a hole-in-one on the 14th hole, the first one there since Tiger Woods did it in his professional debut in 1996.
