Nobbs’ nous tames Norfolk in Club6

PGA Tour of AustralasiaWeek seven of the 2008 Club6 competition has seen another scintillating individual performance, with our first Club6 weekly winner for the year not from the main land.

Danny Nobbs from the Norfolk Island Golf Club was able to hold of his competitors to take this week’s national title with a dazzling score of 17 stableford points over his last six holes.

The nine hole course (18 tees) is not known to locals as being to long or difficult, however when the breeze picks up out there it can really test your golfing ability.

This is exactly what Nobbs had to deal with, and a combination of aggressive ball placement and impressive striking saw him tame the difficult conditions.
